Text in results window appears dimmed after downloading version 2.3.9dev

I am running Windows 11 on a Microsoft Surface 11 pro. This is the version with the ARM processor.

The app runs perfect but when I go to the results window the text is dimmed and not sharp as in my other computer that has an i9 processor. Any ideas as to what can be causing the issue shown in the attached image? You assistance will be greatly appreciated:

The text for the color scale and details are dimmed

I can not verify this. It is strange that the annotation boxes appear normal despite the fact that they use the same 2D rendering pipeline.

Matej,

What is weird is that in my office computer (i9 processor) it works well. I only have this issue in the Surface 11 with the ARM processor. I will keep investigating this issue and report back.

Thanks Matej!

What is weird is that even the text in the scale is dimmed.

The ruler also uses the same rendering approach.

Matej,

I found something really weird: Take a look at the two images attached. The top one is the window when I load a problem: The scale and the axis are dimmed.

I discovered this by chance after attempting everything posted on how to sharpen the text. I used the mouse to move the vertical line and everything works as it should.

Corrected after moving the line to the left just a little bit.

Thanks Matej!!

As I can see, it also changed the background color?

Yes,

One more comment that I d not know if it changes anything due to the operating system and not Prepomax. My older Microsoft surface pro 7 has a resolution of 2736 x 1824 and did not have an issue with the fonts. My newer Surface pro 11 has a resolution of **2880 x 1920 (13.**and was the one that was having the issue with the fonts.

In any event, I reiterate that I had no issues with the use of the program or the calculations, only with the dimmed messages.

I hope that these observations help, and want to share that I love your Prepomax! Great application.

Best regards,

Fernando

Thank you for the information. I do not have the surface to test this out, but it might help other users with similar issues. Do you use desktop scaling at such a high resolution (in desktop Windows, this is a common practice)?

Matej,

The values that I listed were the recommended resolutions for the Surface 7 and surface 11.

One issue that may be playing a role is the fact that my Surface 11 has an ARM microprocessor instead of the intel one. Microsoft has had to find the ways for the ARM processor working as well as the Intel. Will keep you posted!

Thanks!
