it appears you can’t translate surface parts. everything is greyed out
Can you share this new file ? There’s some compound not present in the original model. I would check if it also happens on my side.
It will translate but won’t rotate
I can rotate this compound part. Based on what is shown on your screenshot, it seems that you are in point selection mode. That’s why everything is greyed out. PrePoMax is waiting for you to select a point for axis definition.
I also managed to rotate the parts, I am not sure why it worked later. Initially I could not select anything or enter any numbers.
Like I said, it was probably just point selection mode. In such a case you can try clicking on any point on the model or pressing Esc to quit. But it’s good that it’s working now.
Can we close this thread, or is there still a problem?
