Rigid Body - Spider Display in Prost-Processor

I would like to propose a feature to better visualise the Rigid Body ‘spider legs’…

In the pre-processor it is rather clear (although yellow is perhaps not a great colour with my current background settings - could this too be changed ?):

Then in the post-processing window it would be great if we had an option to display the ‘spider legs’, so that it is clearly visible as seen below.

Isn’t this FR the same as: Visual Display of RIGID BODY in Results ?

Oops, yes it is. I guess that it is much desired then - LOL. Hopefully by more people than just me  . I forgot about this post, almost 2 years ago.

Yes, the color of each constraint can be selected individually in the Constraint Edit window and the color of the background can also be changed in the global settings.

Thank you @Matej

So, it is just in the post-processing/results window that we still cannot see the spider legs then ?

i read previous discussion, the problem is in displaced position of reference nodes but probably it can be read from one of slaved nodes and the arm length still keep.

The problem is that CalculiX does not output the positions of nodes that have no stresses, I think. So, even adding an additional node to the position of the reference point and connecting it to the rigid body does not work.

boundary condition (support) and constraint are commonly displayed with output results, load is not mandatory. However, i did’t know in detail if PrePoMax much depend on FRD of CalculiX. Line representation only available for 1D element like spring and truss or beam.

Postprocessing is primarily dependent on .frd files in order to show results without the model. If the model is present and it is found to be the same as the results, the model edges are copied from the model to the results. The rest of the results do not change.
