After running a simulation and seeing results, and previously saved the file, the “Save As” button is used to create a copy so edits can be done to another file. Upon trying to open the original or the new file, the error “The file cannot be read. It is either corrupt…” . Both files have the same size. V2.4.0.

Usually, it’s the latter, but I guess not in this case. I can’t check your file now, but you should try with the newest available dev version and make sure you are saving and opening from a normally accessible directory (not one requiring admin rights).
I reviewed your file, and the data appears to be corrupted for some reason. Most of it can be retrieved. I could add error handling for such cases, but this could break the reading pipeline, so I need to conduct further tests.
