after that i switch to open the frd file (WA480-8) & it successfully open, i can now see my previous analysis. Now, from this open frd file i tried to update the analysis by changed to different loading. I noticed that while i create new analysis (analysis-1) i can now see my model & the pmx file was opened but the result of new analysis is zero.
For your information for this new analysis (analysis-1) i was using inclined surface traction load & for that purpose several local coordinates was created.
So, there’re actually 2 questions :
Why i can’t open my pmx file eventhough there’s no error messages when i was save the file?
Why there’re no result shown for analysis-1 (the new analysis) ?
I can confirm the issue. I get the same error message when trying to open this .pmx file. And the Analysis-1.frd file indeed doesn’t contain any results (as can be seen by opening it in a text editor or GraphiX). Was it completed successfully after you submitted it ?
First analysis was successful, as you can see in WA480-8.frd file but then when i tried to open the WA480-8.pmx file again there’s an error message.
Nevertheless i have found a solution for this
So, i just ignore the error message & directly open the WA480-8.frd file ; here i can see the result but FE model & geometry can’t. Now, from this 'empty" FE Model i create new analysis & Run “check model” command & press “result” button
after doing this i can see my Geometry & FE model again.
