Meshing failure crashes PPM

Hi, I experience this fatal error in PPM 2.4.2: when meshing (specifically remeshing with a different element type) a model part and meshing fails, the part remains visible in the FEM tab, but it’s not really there because, for example, it cannot be queried. When I try to delete the part from the side menu in FEM, a fatal error is issued “the key element is not present in the dictionary” and then I quit because the model is ruined. I think it’s a regression, no problem in PPM 2.4.1. Thanks, Andrea

Does it happen with any model you try or a particular one ? In the former case, please share the exact steps to reproduce. In the latter case, please share the file.

Are you using Windows directory not requiring admin rights ?

Hi, as I said it comes with PPM 2.4.2, now I am working (under the same directory and the same model, which was created with PPM 2.4.0) with PPM 2.4.1 and no issue. I’ll stick to that with the new projects and let you know if I get the issue again. Regards, Andrea
