Heat transfer LED

Hello.
I am trying to make a simulation for one week and still I recive wrong results. Here is my case.
I have an LED module which is made of:

  • four COB diodes with 8W per each, placed on aluminium base
  • one aluminium heatsink

I need to know how do I have to prepare steps and all input data to achive right results in static heat transfer simulation. I’ve tried do do it few times, but still the results are wrong. I recive about 26 degree celsius on the diode but when I measure it by
thermometer it’s about 70 degrees.
This is the learning session. I already have this LED module and I can measure what is the maximum temperature of it.
Can I send somehow my pmx file?
Thanks for all support.
Maciej

You can upload the file to some hosting website like WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox or One Drive and paste the link here.

Hello. Here is the pmx file.

Dear Jakub, can we continue this topic it polish?
Możemy pisac po polsku?

You have to set access on Google Drive to “Anyone with the link” before copying the link and pasting it here.

Yes, but let’s do it in private messages. The forum should stay English-only. I can then summarize the findings/solution here.

Could you write me a private message? I can’t find the space for it here.

Ok, I sent you a message.

Where does the film coefficient of 23 W/(m²·°C) come from?
