When support for cfd will be available?
Which CFD you are talking about?
There are good preprocessors for OpenFOAM. PrePoMax is designed for structural simulations and CFD would require some significant changes. Abaqus used to have it until 2017 but now it’s purely structural too (if we don’t count CEL or SPH).
Preprocessors for windows for openfoam? I have heard only about Baram from Korea , have you got more detailed info ?
Baram is one of them, I’ve heard that it’s good. But there’s also the CfdOF workbench for FreeCAD that I can definitely recommend.
I was introduced to Baram a couple of months ago and was genuinely impressed.
It installs two different modules (BaramMesh and BaramFlow). It is primarily a pre-processor which uses OpenFoam solvers and Paraview for post-processing). Baram have just released version 25.2, which now includes basic post-processing Paraview features accessed within BaramFlow itself.
I dont particularly like meshing with snappyHexmesh (default mesher in BaramMesh), so my workflow is to mesh in Salome-Meca and then export and convert my mesh to Foam format before importing into BaramFlow.
If you are looking for opensource cfd, I would highly recommend it. Take a look at their Baram website and the features it offers.
