The defeaturing capability uses the OpenCascade function exposed through the Gmsh API. The feature is described in 3D Model Defeaturing - Forum Open Cascade Technology
Its integration is very basic, and after every defeature command, the old geometry is replaced by the new one without the option to go back a step.

Great. FreeCAD also has this tool and it’s surprisingly powerful: FEM Geometry Preparation and Meshing - FreeCAD Documentation

it’s a great and amazing when seeing basic CAD operation inside PrePoMax, maybe boolean operation and solid partition is possible in the future.

This is amazing.
Thanks a lot. It would be really helpful to have this tool.
As @synt already mentioned, it would be great to have a splitting tool and may be a bit easy approach than transfinite or extrude/revolve operation to create structured hex mesh
Hello!
It seems the download is out of order…
Maybe is the server down?

It’s explained here (and download is available in the reply below): PrePoMax website
