Hi everyone, in PPM version 2.3.0 I tried to use the tool “Split Part Mesh Using Surface”.
When you chose “Surface name” on the “Splitter surface reagion type” line, I guess a drop down list should appear with the surface names, but nothing appears.
The same happens for the “Base part region type” row. It is not possible to select the part name.
Only graphical selections work.

I don’t have the “Surface name” option for Splitter Surface Region, only “Selection”. When it comes to Base Part Region, I can choose “Part name”, but the list appears only when I proceed to Splitter Surface Region and pick a surface there.
You are right, the list of parts and the list of surfaces do not show correctly. In all Region rows, the names of the lists only appear if the lists have at least 1 item. If I have 1 part and create 1 surface, the lists do not appear.
I have fixed the problem. It will be available in the next version.
Can you confirm the bug is solved?
I was too quick, I did it in a hurry:
The selection works fine, but I get this error when trying to actually split the mesh.
With “Selection” the procedure works and the mesh is split.
I have fixed (hopefully) the problem. It will be integrated into the new developer version.
