I was doing a simulation in 2.3.0 and find out that I couldn’t select the defined surfaces by name in contact pairs as I could do in 2.2.0

Has this been changed and how to do it now?

It works normally for me in v2.3.0. I can click the arrow and switch from Selection to Surface name. But keep in mind that you need to have the surfaces predefined.
You are right. Checked it on a simulation where no surfaces were defined. After defining the surfaces, the possibility to select by surface name appeared. Thanks
