Running PrePoMax on Ubuntu

Is there maybe some tutorial showing how to run PrePoMax on Ubuntu?

PrePoMax is developed for Windows. You would have to use a virtual machine or emulator.

I realize that. Some people reported running PrePoMax successfully on Linux using the Wine emulator. Unfortunately, their tutorials are in Chinese I guess. It would be nice to have a tutorial in English so I just wonder if somebody happened to make one.

I can confirm that PrePoMax runs great on KDE Neon (based on Ubuntu 24.04) using Bottles. It isolates a Wine environment in a sandbox and can be installed as Flatpak. Just install dotnet48 into an empty environment, optionally with allfonts. Both extensions can be installed with Bottles itself. Except for the black squares in the table view, PrePoMax works great.

Important: Don’t install mono in your Wine environment. Just install dotnet48!
