I have a model that I’ve run several times within the same .pmx file. I can see all results from previous runs in the Result dropdown menu. Is there a way to delete all previous results associated with a particular .pmx file? I’ve manually deleted the files in folder, however I can still see all the results in the GUI.
I am trying to understand why there is the option to have more than 1 Analysis with the same .pmx file. Could you please elaborate a little more or provide an example ?
Is there an option to have a specific Step/s linked only to one Analysis file ? … and thereby be able to switch between results ?
Not sure if my question comes across clearly, so it’s probably better if you could provide an example.
Why not ? It’s the same as in Abaqus/CAE (although there you can have multiple models = separate trees in a single .cae file). Each time you change something in your model, you can create a new Analysis to avoid overwriting the previous results.
It’s not related to steps. Each Analysis uses all of the active ones from the Model tree. But you can e.g. deactivate one and run Analysis 1, activate it and run Analysis 2 and so on. Or change anything else. For each Analysis, the current state of the whole Model tree is taken. Like for Jobs in Abaqus/CAE. What could be added in the feature is a possibility to have multiple Model trees.
