When I constrain a reference point to a model so I can apply a load or create a pivot I am also interested in that application point moving with the deformed model. Currently you can apply forces and masses to a point but the point never moves in the simulation, just the model. I’m not sure what I would gain really, but then a CAD model is just a matrix of numbers so what do we gain from being able to see those numbers as a geometrical shape in space right? Its just a nice to have request.
This was requested and briefly discussed some time ago here: Reference point not "moving" in post-processing display

LOL that’s funny, the model I was playing around with just now was exactly the same simple pendulum rectangular shape. Yeah I can think of a thousand things being able to see the point move would not solve. But it would be so cool. Like having AutoCAD wire frame and being able to show people the cool 3D model your graphics card can make off it with just another 50Mb of ram.
