Invert mouse wheel zoom and use of 3D mouse

Hi,

2 requests:

  1. The option to invert the direction of zoom when scrolling the middle mouse wheel in the Settings. This is convenient when all other 3D navigation software i use is set to the opposite :slight_smile:
  2. The use of 3D mice to navigate 3D space (fx. 3Dconnexion 3D mice). Most professional CAD users i know use one, so losing the option when using PrePoMax is a shame.

Yes, some useful options to have, if possible.

Request number 1 is not a problem. But supporting 3D mice might be a challenging thing. I think I thought about it a while ago and did not find direct support for C# language. But I will look again to see what I can do about it. One of those mice is sitting at my work PC, so I might give it a try.

Any news on implementing 3D Mice? Once you get used to one, it’s really hard to go back. :slightly_smiling_face:

Unfortunately no news. This is not in the first plan at the moment.
