Import model error

Hi,

With version 1.4.1 I’m not able to import models from “Models” directory.
I get the error below. (Before importing the .step file, I set up a new model)

With version 1.1.0 I can import a model correctly.

Make sure that Tools → Settings → Calculix → Work directory is set properly.

Both versions have similar settings.
Which directory should I set?
Do I need to change it every time I create a project in a different directory?

Check if the C:\mysoftware\PrePoMax v1.4.1\Temp folder still exists. If yes, try selecting a different folder as a work directory in the settings.

The PrePoMax must be in a folder where admin rights are not needed. Try c:/PrePoMax.

I see that you use the same folder for both versions. You can try running it as an administrator.

For some reason, the Temp directory was missing…Now, It works.
However, from my point of view, the Calculix working directory should change according to the location of the .pmx file (i.e. I would like to see the output files in the directory of my project).

You can set it up using: Use .pmx folder as work directory
