Import step file error

I’m trying to import a STEP file with PrePoMax, but I’m getting an error as shown in the attached image. I can import STL files but can’t generate a mesh. It was working fine until now, but after my PC froze once and I had to reboot, it suddenly started doing this. What could be the cause?

Again, when I try to load a STEP file, I encounter this error.

I receive the same error regardless of which model I import, so the model I sent also encounters an error during the STEP file import. Additionally, I redownloaded PrePoMax, but it did not resolve the issue.

Try importing from another directory where there are no access restrictions: Problems importing .step and .stp files

I was able to import. It seems that the permissions changed somehow. I understand now.

After reassigning permissions to the folder, the STEP file now opens without any issues.
