I have done quasi-static compression test. Now i want to plot stress vs strain graph. Can anyone help me with this? Also I am unable to view stress generated in all elements. The default is 100 elements when I increased it according to no. Of elements in my structure… The software isn’t responding.
Choose some representative element and node (imagine that you are placing a strain gauge) and request history output only for them to generate a stress-strain curve. Normally, there’s no need to use the whole model for that.
The default value is 100 to prevent the software from unresponding. Usually, more than 100 measurement points are not needed. If you need to compute the total value of the measured field, you can set it up before the simulation run.
