Help with setting up

Hi, I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I need help setting up analysis and getting the results.

I have a facesheet of glass epoxy with a hole in the middle. Then the facesheet is fixed at the bottom and a pin is put through the hole.

The layers fo the facesheet are -

A real life experiment was done on the following facesheet and those were the results. – Ignore the red line.

This is my discord - Alyeks#3503. I would be very grateful if I can get some guidance or help.

My model setup - https://fileport.io/vVJx1CtPG2nW - file is too big to upload here.
My problem is the results I am getting, amasingly high reaction forces.
Thank you in advance.

You should request contact output too. As I said in the previous thread (Help with setting up the analysis - #2 by FEAnalyst) you should avoid BCs on the contact surfaces. I would just use a rigid pin here.

Hi, my problem is getting the data after that. Because the reaction force I get is way way higher and it looks like there is some problem with the setup overall. Thats why I am asking for help.

Try without contact for now. You can replace it with compression-only constraint and pull from the other side: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYuvUbu6Sw8

Or just load it directly to check if the reaction forces make sense.
