In the case of explicit analysis, where contacts are always present, only the time increment can be observed (see figure). It’s impossible to know how far the analysis has already been carried out.
Is’t possible to add more information to the monitor window (number of increments, total time, wall time, …)?

You can request the energy output to see the actual total time.
It would be very transparent if the information was visible like in Abaqus.

In this case, I think adding ENER to the dynamic step by default could be helpful. Would any other steps benefit from ENER? Modal dynamic?
I only noticed this in explicit dynamic analysis.
I have added ENER to the default element outputs for the dynamic step.
