You can use the mesh refinement tool for that:

It is not possible to do it after meshing. The meshing must be repeated with additional settings.

hi!
if we use mesh refinement we can correct by changing element size , but i want to change the density only on specific edge
like an edge having 6 nodes we have to change to 5 nodes or 4 nodes

You can set Mesh Setup → Mesh refinement only for selected edges.

but there will be so many edges to do that refiniment.
