Basic UI question - warning symbol

I’m new with PrePoMax.

Just imported a STEP assembly - one part has a warning triangle next to its icon. But there is no hint of what this might mean. Documentation doesn’t seem to cover this. Hovering over the triangle or clicking it does nothing.

Imports were all successful judging by the text list.

Any help / explanation appreciated.

It indicates issues with geometry. You can use Geometry → Analyze to check various aspects of geometry validity. You may have to simplify or repair your model in CAD software. But it’s just a warning and if the model and mesh look good, it might be ok to ignore it.
