one further thing i want to suggest is, it would be nice if the size of spitted windows could be changed for all sections (especially useful for the Create Load window).
Also the material library shows unexpected behavior when switching from one to another material-selection, if the categories are partially obscured - in this case the slider must be pulled fully to the left:
PS: in this context also a possibility for rearranging materials would be nice.
I have fixed this behavior since it was the same in all tree controls.
I have added up and down buttons.
I will have to see how to add the splitter control to all forms.
The updates will be part of the next release.
I played a little with different possibilities and I think I found a good solution. When a properties window is resized, first, the Type list view is resized up to the last item, and then the Properties control is resized.
And then I have a question. The type list view sometimes contains more than 3 items. In this case, the list view has a vertical scroll bar at the right.
Is this enough information for a new user that there are more items hidden below or should I show half of the 4th item in the list?
I love this. Will the window remain extended/enlarged even after exiting and returning to the menu (or even closing PrePoMax and re-opening)?
I think showing half of the last item is a better option for new users.
The window will keep its size after closing and opening it again. But each category has its own window with its own size. So each of them neds to be resized.
Closing PrePoMax will reset the window sizes.
