A new PrePoMax version v2.3.0 has been released

A new release version of the PrePoMax contains the following FEM features (with regard to v2.2.11):

  • Added support for zooming while doing rubber band selection
  • Added support for entering multiple IDs during mesh-based selection
  • Added support to specify gap in compression only constraint

And the following user features:

  • bug fixes

Great news! The site still is unnavailable (at least from Argentina), is there any alternative to download?

The website is also not available in Malaysia also, but the problem is solved for me by using VPN.

I am really sorry for that but it seems after the cyber attack, our IT people are not capable/willing to open the site.

  • Added support for splitting periodic CAD surfaces during CAD file import
  • Added support for parameters to all initial conditions

  • Added support for initial angular velocity
  • Added support for sweep meshing
  • Added support for defeaturing CAD parts: Geometry → CAD Part → Defeature

Did you put PrePoMax to a non-system and non-admin folder?

I put the Prepomax in C drive in a normal folder C:\FEA\Prepomax 2.3.0. Should I give admin privileges to the .exe??

The folder you are using should work. .exe does not need any admin privileges.

So you can import the geometry and set up the model but opening a file does not work? Can you check your work directory at Tools → Settings → CalculiX
