If not too much trouble, I would like to request a feature which is quite common in other CAE apps i.e an option to zoom into a small area instantly. Its a convenience that with two right mouse clicks determines the extents and zooms in instantly. This avoids having to scroll the middle mouse wheel 5 or 6 times to get the same result, and saves time and repetetive actions.
I realise the the menu pops up when we press and release the right mouse button, but perhaps the menu could be neglected if we press and hold down the right mouse button to mark the second extent point.
I think this would be pretty easy to add, but I prefer rotating the mouse wheel in comparison to going to the toolbar, finding the icon, going back to the model… But for managing slow models could be interesting.
@matej how about right mouse click on first corner and hold-and-drag to diagonally opposite corner and release ? …i.e. not going to any toolbar at all.
