When I convert the .frd format into .vtu format using ccx2paraview package, I find the nodal coordinate is the undeformed situation. So I can not obtain the deformed information of model.
Aren’t there multiple frames with the last one containing the final deformed solution ? This tool should convert all the frames and if you load all the generated .vtk or .vtu files to ParaView, you should be able to switch between the different frames.
Thanks for your response. But .frd file obtained from PrePoMax does not contain the deformed nodal coordinate.
I mean that the result from .frd file only export has the initial (undeformed) nodal coordinates.
The .frd file is created by the solver Calculix. It contains the initial mesh position, connectivity, and all the results the user selected. To display the displacements in the postprocessor the displacement variable must be selected in the field outputs.
Thanks. If I do not get the deformed mesh position from .frd file, how can I dispaly the deformed position in postprocessor (e.g., paraview)?
In ParaView, you can use the Warp filter to display the deformation.
Thanks your response, I have resolved this issue.
