Problems with post-processing using the compression only support option

Hi,

When I perform a calculation using the Compression only support option, I can’t get the results to display without the mesh. Is this a bug? Or can it be configured in a way I’m not finding?

If I remove the compression only support option, I can hide the mesh

Thanks

Looks like a regression, maybe related to this: A new developer/preview PrePoMax version v2.4.5 has been released - #5 by synt

Hi FEAnalyst,

This also happened in previous versions

Furthermore, it only happens when I configure mesh options other than Meshing parameters, that is, if I use compression only support and include a particular mesh configuration (for example, a structured mesh)

Thanks

Hi,

It seems to be caused by the use of the experimental pyramid elements.

Hi,

I understand it’s a bug, but can it be fixed?

Thanks

I think I know why this is happening and I will try to fix it.

As a workaround for now, you could use the No edges mode:

or render in ParaView:

Hi,

I don’t know what the difference is, but I still see the same thing.

That’s because you have the undeformed and deformed shapes overlaid:

Try with the deformed shape itself (button on the left from the one currently pressed).

Yes, that’s right

Hi Matej,

Thank you for your interest.

Can you confirm the problem is solved?

It’s ok in v2.4.6 with my cube test model shared above. And with Victor’s model too.
