Hi,
When I try to run an assembly model in static analysis, I got the nonpositive jacobian error, which got sorted once I set the adjust to no and set the Midnode setting to no.
I am getting No tied MPC error. The model is bolted diagonally. From previous discussions on the forum ‘Make sure that master surface is the one belonging to the part with coarser mesh’ did this too. Any other way to sort this out.
A message like this:
*WARNING in gentiedmpc: no tied MPC
generated for node …
no corresponding master face
found; tolerance: …
is just a warning, it doesn’t have to mean anything wrong and analysis won’t fail because of it but you should check if the tie constraint is working properly. If not, make sure that you have correct master-slave assignment (master should be the one with a coarser mesh - important) and adjust the tolerance if needed.
