Mousepad rotate without mouse

Often times I need to work during a meeting and not want to carry or use a noisy mouse. It would be cool to be able to use just a laptop to move the model around. It seems that panning and zooming work. Just need rotation.

For that you can use the arrow keys.

Dynamic Rotation with Touchpad

Good day all, Is it possible to dynamically rotate a model using a laptop touchpad ? I have tried sliding on the touchpad while holding down the typical keys like ALT or SHIFT or CTRL, but none seem to do the job. I have also tried while holding down the left and right touchpad buttons, but no luck there either. I have looked through the SETTINGS menu, but there are no mouse/touchpad user features available.

Yup. That’s the one. I think the argument for mousepad use is a good one. When I gotta go to a presentation room I usually forget the mouse, then I have to remote into my PC and use the room’s computer. Super not ideal. But mostly for me is to be able to work silently during a meeting where I just need to listen and not really participate. That’s when having good rotation control or at least some would be good. But lol, no such thing on SW anyway so I could not come up with new geometry for example. But I could run different loading scenarios.
