With Output=3D shell elements mesh doesn’t deactivate when requested in the View/Model Edges menu or icon.
Well, it works as it should, but the result is not what the user expects. If you zoom in to a node on the expanded membrane node, you will see that membrane elements are not connected as shell elements if the angle between them is small. So, there is no way of computing the model edges (feature edges) by angle. And the geometry of the expanded shells does not exist o copy the model edges from the geometry.
