Hi,
it seems that the contact pair search is broken for surface geometries (in 3D and 2D model spaces). The following error appears:
The same happens when surfaces are positioned one above the other.
I tested it in v2.4.0 and v2.4.3.

one other strange thing is when I went to select parts to assign meshing parameters it highlights all of the parts but doesn’t select them all if that makes any sense. I have a screen capture somewhere showing it.
I have fixed this problem and will include the solution into new developer version.
