Hi,
I wanted to suggest a feature in post-processing that would be very useful (to civil Engineers at least). It is the integration of stresses over a line or surface (or better over a set of lines or surfaces). Using this feature one can see the total forces or moments of something that has been modeled using 2d or 3d elements.
CalculiX supported these feature for solid element, beam also but it’s not available for shell element.

but it could be useful when PrePoMax capable to do such as integration from stress in post-processing modes. Defining surface for any region user interest to get sectional forces, problem or limitation of composed beam and layered shell of CalculiX can be fixed or fulfiled.
HI Matej,
Prepomax is giving me this error WHEN i TRY TO OPEN THE RESULTS.
It is a shell and I have edit the keywords to request the section print as usual.
.dat file is fine and contains the correct results.

First data line: total surface force (fx,fy,fz) and moment about the origin(mx,my,mz)
Can you share the .pmx file or .dat file?
