Hello,

first of all, I am very impressed with the capabilities of version 3.0.0 and I am thankfull this software exists.

I have just one question. When I import a grating (the stuff that you walk on) into the software, it takes really long (15-30 min). I have imported much more complex parts without problems. The import also was faster in version 2.4.0. And it is not just importing, opening the pmx file also takes about the same time. Am I doing something wrong? I have set the linear CAD Deflection to 10 which did not make much of a difference.

Can you try in 2.6.0 too ? So that a potential regression / slowdown can be pinpointed.

Btw. do you really need the whole thing for the simulation ? Maybe you could use symmetry or even a periodic (repetitive) segment instead. Midsurface geometry for shell meshing would make sense too.
