Error creating an Axisymmetric model

Dear All,
I’m a Prepomax new user, so my question should be very simple.
I’ve created a model with 2 plane surface bodies and meshed with CAX6 elements in Prepomax.
I’ve created contact, loads and BCs, but the Analysis branch presents a red X and doesn’t run.
I attached the example: can you explain me where is the errror?

Thanks
Michele

Red X only means that the analysis is not solved yet. It will work if you right-click on it and select Run.

Hi FEAnalyst,

I push run but the simulation failed. I’ve used the Check model button, but the system returns the error:

*WARNING: no analysis option was chosen

What does It means?
What I’m wrong?

Thanks
Michele

My file shared at the link below

It’s not an error, it’s just a warning that the Check model option performs check run without calculating anything. You have to choose Run to actually submit the calculations.

You have to set access to “Anyone with the link” first.

Now the access is to everyone.

After launching the analysis I receive the message:

“Job failed - no results exist.”

Thanks a lot,
Michele

It seems that two lines are created in the input file but are not present in the tree:

** Name: Compression_Only_BC
*Boundary
Internal_All_Compression_Only_Constraints_NodeSet, 1, 1, 0
Internal_All_Compression_Only_Constraints_NodeSet, 2, 2, 0
**

Unfortunatelly I cannot upload the image of the tree.

It still doesn’t work, you may have to generate a new link (and paste it here) after you change the access settings.

It shouldn’t happen in the newest dev version (1.5.7), try using it.
