I’ would strongly suggest that Last Iteration in the Field output is set up as “Yes” by default.
Not sure if many users know about that option . In my experience , most of the convergence issues in nonlinear analisys can be identified just by a quick inspection of that last picture.
I’m not sure about enabling it by default. Then the additional .frd file (ResultsForLastIterations.frd) will always be created, even for converged analyses. And the users will have to know that it’s there to open and use it anyway. So maybe adding a note (to include last iterations when rerunning) to the job Monitor displayed in the case of non-convergence error message would suffice.
I think this would be a better choice. Adding it by default slows down the computations (I think).
I have also problems with convergence where can I turn on this option in prepomax?
