Bug or feature: shift in the element surface numbering

Not all CalculiX cards are implemented in PrePoMax now. Sometimes a user need an element surface number to add an unimplemented card to the INP-file manually. He or she can show the selected element surface number using “Query” tool. The problem is that internal element surface numbering in PrePoMax starts from 0 when the CalculiX element surface numbering starts from 1. It is not a big problem always add 1 to the number shown by the “Query” tool, however, it is a tentative source of mistakes.
The problem exists when the model either is read form the external INP-file or it is imported from the STEP file.

I can confirm that the numbering in PrePoMax starts at 0 which is not very user friendly. It was done in this way to help directly compare the values in the user interface to the values in the source code. This is a small issue and will be fixed in the next code update.

For the new annotation features the numbering of the edges and surfaces was increased by 1, so it now starts at 1 instead of at 0 as before. That is why I am closing this bug report.
