Hi guys, at first i want to congratulate to the developer(s) of this nice program. I just found it and started to play with it.
Made my first model, a rough press. My question is: how can be avoid the interference of two parts? As you can see in the pictures, I let a small gap between guiding bars and the plate. How can i tell the program to take note about the two bars when calculates and dont interfere the guiding with the plate? There should be a slightly different result if a contact between plate and guides will be considered.
Do you have contact pairs defined ? If not, you should add them or use tie constraints (if the surfaces can be bonded initially and for the whole analysis). Otherwise, the parts won’t “see each other” and there will be interferences between them.
Sure, had set up contact pairs. Realised that could be because of the automatic scaling. I update my model, change the guides to be a bit smaller, to see better the deformations and i will test again.
