A new release version of the PrePoMax contains the following FEM features:
added support for Gmsh shell meshing
added support for Gmsh extruded solid meshing (multilayered)
added support for Gmsh revolved solid meshing (multilayered)
added support for Gmsh transfinite solid meshing
Added compression-only constraint
bug fixes
And the following user features:
added support for reading and displaying gap elements in the Results module
bug fixes

Thank you @FEAnalyst . I really appreciate all the work you do for the community.
A big thanks also goes to all the other users who reported all the bugs and suggested improvements to the project.
There is another added feature in the 2.0.0 version where extruded and revolved meshes can be created by defining multiple layers each with a selected number of elements:
