Where can I find description of procedures for Contact and ties. Differences when to use which

I am having some issues with components of a model containing different bodies moving and resulting in errors in my stress analysis.
I tried looking for references in Calculix but could not find detailed information as to order and what type of contact or tie to use.
Can somebody provide a link to the site or location where I can find the recommended procedures.
Many thanks and best regards

The difference is rather simple - tie constraint connects surfaces permanently - they can’t separate or slide on each other. This type of constraint is also often used to connect incompatible meshes. Contact normally allows for both separation and sliding and thus may cause convergence issues (it’s highly nonlinear and rigid body motions can occur before contact is established). There’s also tied contact - it works like tie constraint but it’s imposed differently.
