How can I convert a 3D structure into a single solid structure after meshing it piece by piece with sweep and extrude?
I assume that you are using PrePoMax v2.6.0 or older. Try the newly released v3.0.0 (available as Release Candidate 2 for now). It offers completely different meshing approach - you can split parts and hex mesh them without worrying about connections - the meshes within the same part object will be continuous.
However, if you still need to connect separate part meshes, you can use tie constraints or try merging nodes if they are close from each other on both sides.
