Assembly of meshes to be merged

Hello,
I have a test case consisting at meshing my single part in pieces: composites sandwich structure: two top/bottom skins, that enclose a foam core, but also a metallic insert part.
I need to conduct meshes out of prepomax (specific foam core hexa meshing), and I would like to ‘concatenate’ all together in prepomax, by importing them, and applying ‘nodes condensation’ at meshes interfaces.
Does such a feature exist today in prepomax ?
Thank you.

Yes, if the nodes are closely aligned, you can use the Model → Node → Merge Coincident Nodes tool and specify sufficient tolerance value. Otherwise, you could use tie constraints to connect the parts.

Quite a few hex meshing features are also available in PrePoMax. They work very well for relatively simple geometries so maybe you could consider that at least for some parts (such as skins). Having the geometry in PrePoMax has certain benefits. If the parts are solid, you could easily compound them on the geometry level to avoid the need for any connections. However, then only transfinite subvolumes (5 or 6 faces, 3 or 4 edges each) can be hex meshed.
