I would kindly request if Custom Keywords could also be deactivated in the edit window. If I’m not wrong one needs to erase them now.

Yes, or just comment out.
Btw. Abaqus also has an option to discard all edits, this could be helpful as well.
And of course the possibility to modify the existing keywords, but that’s another story.
I could add a button that will add/remove comments to all user keyword lines?
Maybe all is too drastic. In my case I only wanted to deactivate a custom step in the left window.
I added comments to all the cards.
Or maybe a keyword shortcut to comment / uncomment all the selected lines.

Yeah, but let’s keep in mind the custom keywords are added in separate groups, so this way you wouldn’t be able to suppress them all at once if you wanted to do it. However, it would still be helpful even if you had to do it for each groups separately.

When deactivating 1 step, user keywords are removed instead of deactivated.
The request can’t be aborted. Even if pressing scape to avoid that, the custom keywords are removed anyway.
EDIT: Additionally, when a step is duplicated, custom keywords are not included.

I use this feature extensively, as I don’t use CCX.
I think having a comment / uncomment switch on each user’s entry would be enough?
