I have watched nice example of preload on you tube. I’m wondering what for is st

ep create compound part ? Will it be ok if I use constraints and contact insead of this ? I have task to solve caps assemly and I have to use preload for 6 bolts and interference fit all in one time.

You can create compound parts only for bolts (to have internal surfaces on which boundary layers and pretension loads are applied). The rest can be connected with contact or tie constraints if you want.
