Include sat format for importing geometry

Hi,
Is there a possibility to include in the feature the ACIS (.sat) format for geometry import?
My CAD software cannot export step or brep files, I use only stl, but stl is not supporting surfaces.

it seems FreeCAD can import these file type by add-on InventorLoader.

It seems it is not easy to integrate the ACIS format reader. If FreeCAD is able to import them you can try using it.
