Defining Density for a Compression only Material definition

Hello,

Im using the Calculix Keyword edtior to define a compression only Material, to “simulate” concrete. This works reasonably well at the moment. However i need to consider the weight/gravity of the concrete, therefor i need to define the density of the compression only material.

Is this even possible ? and if yes, what kind of units do I have to use, Prepomax uses t/mm^3, does Calculix use that aswell ?

You can just add this keyword:

*DENSITY
density_value

Or create a material in GUI, define density and then add compression-only elasticity in keywords for this material.

If your model uses SI(mm) units then the density will indeed be in tonne/mm^3.
