Custom Legend with Non Uniform Intervals

Good afternoon.

Is there a way I can setup my legend colours to be as follows for a displacement plot:

Red 0.75mm to 1.00mm
Green -0.75mm to 0.75mm
Blue -0.75 to -1.00mm.

Ideally the red and blue regions would rainbow from say yellow to red and light blue to dark blue. I am trying to match my visual output to resemble metrology reporting software (green in tolerance, blue below, red above).

Thank you,

Sam

Currently. you can only change the min/max limit and the number of colors:

However, you will have many more options including custom spectra if you convert the results to VTK format and open them in ParaView: Converting results to ParaView format

Thank you for your prompt reply

diverging type of colormap is available in PrePoMax

This is just the Cool-warm colormap (one of the alternatives to Rainbow) with 3 discrete colors and custom min/max limits. But you can’t change the colors of the colormap presets or define non-uniform ranges. ParaView is needed for that.

coolwarm support gradient from light to dark transition also. Another type of diverging colormaps required ParaView to customized indeed, but it’s rare using green at center and bright one usually.

Yes, there are quite a few colormaps other than just the default Rainbow in PrePoMax now. More customization is rarely needed, but sometimes it helps to use custom colors to match e.g. maps from measurements. My favorite example is from Abaqus documentation:
