I am new to PrePoMax. I am having trouble, in FEM simulations, to find the momentum output, I can find just forces, while I can set mometum as model inputs. I guess I am missing something since I do not understand what “TOSTRAIN” output means.
If you want to get reaction moment from solid elements, you have to apply boundary conditions via rigid body constraint because nodes of solid elements don’t have rotational degrees of freedom. Here’s an example: PrePoMax (CalculiX FEA) - Tutorial 2 - Torsion of an elliptical bar - YouTube
TOSTRAIN stands for total strain.
