Meshing fitting components

Hi!

I would like to mesh two pieces that fit together. Model is here.

But I couldn’t find the option to make them perceive/see each other so that after the meshing they fit better in the corners. You can see from the figures below in red boxes. It doesn’t matter if the mesh get finer. Another thing is I would also like a mesh transition between separate parts too like the green lines,

I have to use .stl for my problem after this I will apply tie contact and analyze it like this. Could you give me some suggestions? I appreciate any help, thank you.

For PPM v2.0.8:

  1. make STP of parts
  2. import STP files
  3. make “Compound”
  4. in Meshing_Parameters: Merge compound parts=No
  5. make mesh of Compound.
