i’m encounter a problem in second order setting of Gmsh mesher, it seems the midside nodes of element did not follow the curved geometry. Not really sure and know, is this the limitation of the mesher itself or not. If so, probably a further processing as i discussed before about fit to the geometry is required.
global mesh setting of basic and advanced options in Gmsh mesher is fairly new, previously i miss to set properly. Thank you, now it’s working as expected. Fortunately, midside nodes can follow geometry, and probably it can be fit to any curve including ellipse and complex splines.
