If not too much trouble, I would like to request a feature which is quite common in other CAE apps i.e an option to zoom into a small area instantly. Its a convenience that with two right mouse clicks determines the extents and zooms in instantly. I think this would be pretty easy to add, but I prefer rotating the mouse wheel in comparison to going to the toolbar, finding the icon, going back to the model… But for managing slow models could be interesting. ---

@matej how about right mouse click on first corner and hold-and-drag to diagonally opposite corner and release ? …i.e. not going to any toolbar at all. ---

I have implemented this feature using a menu, a toolbar icon and a keyboard shortcut: Z + left mouse click. ---
